It is pretty obvious that during each and every season there is a different trend of hair styles that seem to follow. In the fall it is all about curls and that Kira Knightly look, in the spring it is all about pixie cuts and shorter strands, in the summer the shine is on and the tresses are straighten and finally the winter is all about buns and deep and darker colors.
Think about it, when spring arrives, everyone is so happy and all they want to do is lighten up their tresses to match the bright sun that has been hiding all winter. When the summer arrives it is all about shorter strands to keep cool and look fantastic. Then, the fall rolls in and that is the start of the darker colors and the curls (which turn to frizz in the spring and summer months) make an appearance. Finally, the winter comes and everyone who was bright blond in the spring has now dropped to a light chestnut – it is all about the inspiration and the seasons changing is one of the greatest inspirations that a stylist can draw from.
As you can see, hair stylists have all sorts of different muses, especially in the color department! Reds, browns, greens, purples, blonds and blues are all making their way into hair fashion and changing your hair color is a big part of the changing of the seasons as well. So, in 2009, be on the look out for some big hair, short hair, frizzy hair and brightly colored hair as the seasons begin to change.
