Naturally, I had no idea what this hairstyle was before I looked it up, but after I found this picture of Ashley Tinsdale rocking it out, I was hooked!  The mini-pompadour, the ‘Hollywood bump’ as it is affectionately referred to is basically when you pull your bangs back, secure them and cause a little bump with them – it is a very simple and easy hair style as … well, that is all you are doing with your hair, you are not doing anything with the rest.

I am sure that you have seen this hairstyle everywhere too and just figured it was something that people started doing, what you may not realize is that it is actually extremely popular among all the celebs, so why not try it yourself!  Directions:

1.    Take your bangs and pull them back.
2.    Secure them with a bobby pin, making sure to raise them a little to make that trademark bump
