When I first saw the fad of two-toned hair I thought it was just that … a fad, but then I saw an increasing number of people getting it done or doing it themselves and yes, it even made its way into Hollywood! Well, after that I just had to find out the inside scoop on what makes people do this to themselves! This is what I came up with: most people who have two-toned hair are trying to be different and do something out-of-the-ordinary with their hair. That’s it folks! Yeah, I thought there would be more to it too, but there really was not!

On every forum there were people posting questions on what two colors look good together and trying to figure out exactly how to achieve the perfect two-toned look, but no one actually had any insight on it. So here is my thought: red and black look amazing together! If you are going to have your hair two different colors, why not go a little bit crazy and shift on over to almost pink and a little black? It looks awesome and everyone will be eyeing your do!

So now that you know the inside scoop (not that there was much of one), you can now decide for yourself and see if you actually like the two-toned look, or if you are more of a highlight girl or guy. Or, maybe you want to go all natural and leave the dying part to the sun! That would be the green thing to do, but honestly – I have to be a bright, brilliant and not-natural redhead.
