Before you dig out your grandmother’s spongy curlers or you go driving to your stylist to demand a perm, why not check out some of these alternatives that will give you awesome curls while keeping your do customizable?

Firstly, take the curling iron.  These are great for quick and minor touch-ups or can give your style glam within just a few minutes!  Curling irons are a fantastic option if you are just trying to place a few curls along your head or if you are looking to add a bit of glamorization to your style.

Personally, since I have curly hair, I have found that curling irons are fantastic to use to straighten your hair too and you can also flip the ends of your hair under or up with a curling iron.  However, if you are not all that experienced with your curling iron, it can take you longer to create a full head of curly hair, so beware!
