Have you been watching the runway at all?  Well, if you haven’t, that is okay!  No worries, I can keep you updated on what’s hot for the runway this year!   Braids, twists and buns will be seen in spring collections this year, Vera Wang, Giles and Alberta Ferretti are the three designers that put this hairstyle on the map this year and honestly, I am pretty happy!

As you can see from the picture above, the braids don’t have to be perfect; the messy look is in and why not save some cash on your monthly hair trim?  Throw your hair in a messy bun, braid or twist and you will look exactly like all the super models now-a-day!  While shorter hair is definitely going to be a highlight in 2009, if you aren’t ready to take the plunge and cut those strands off, why not braid it?  Yes, you may be thinking braids are for the younger generation, but they are back in folks – so get to braiding!
