Have you seen the latest hair color this year? Oh, you probably have but you probably had no idea what it was – well folks, the coffee and cream highlights are the bees knees this year and honestly, I think they are pretty freakin’ hot! Not only do you get the best of both worlds, being a blonde and a brunette, but you also have some of the coolest looking hair in the world!
Coffee and Cream highlights are super easy to achieve, all you need to do is dye your hair chocolate brown, insert quite a few blonde highlights and you have that look achieved! Now that you have the low down on the coffee and cream highlights, you can definitely add in your own bit of spice – for example, the hot coffee highlights is another great look!
Hot coffee highlights is red streaks in chocolate brown hair – wouldn’t that look freakin’ awesome! So give it a try and spice up your look ladies, we know that we all need something a little different once in a while!
ThanksThank you for writing this story, it’s been definitely informative. I’m to start up a special blog for hairdressing so clearly ya do possess some blog skillz
.
i think the brown is a level 3 with a gold tone and the blond is a level 9 with gold tone as well but if your hair already has a gold tone i would do the ash tone instead it will keep it from looking orange.
Hi!
My boyfriends aunt went to beauty school and i think it would be easiest for me to explain this look to her? Are the blond streaks different widths? I love the look and can’t wait to sport it!
I really love this look! I have brown hair close to this shade. I also like the cut this girl is sporting. Could I take the picture to my stylist and her be able to cut it, even though the model is propped up like that? And does it look okay on straight hair, with the cut and color?
I LOVE this! I have dark brown hair, but its not exactly that chocolate color. I have had blonde highlights ranging from medium to white blonde all together before, but they looked a lot different. I have done the browns and honey blondes look before in my natural color as well. Would this look work in my natural color or do I need to dye it? Does it look as good on straight hair?
Hello!
Unfortunately, I do not know the numbers, brand or color but to be honest, if you talk to your stylist, they can absolutely assist you! When I talked to my hairdresser (the dude prefers that instead of ‘stylist’), he recommended that you bleach your hair if you already have it blonde and that is pretty much the color. However, I would NEVER do it yourself! I would just talk to your stylist though and figure out the best possible way.
Thanks so much for commenting!
