All right, now that you have chosen yourself an application method, you will now need to choose an attachment/bonding method. This is a very important step as this is what will bond the hair weave to your hair and it will dictate exactly how damaged your hair might be. There are a few different ways that you can bond the hair weave to your hair: braided, bonded and fusion are the three different ways.

First, the braided weave method: this is when your natural hair is braided along your scalp in tiny, horizontal cornrows. These braids should be done in the middle of your scalp and should not be noticeable at all. The top of are of your head known as the crown will cover the highest braid. Next, your stylist will begin to sew your hair weave into your hair via the braids. This is one of the methods that might be the most painful if the braids are too tight or the hair weave is too heavy.
