Now that we have explored the braiding method of attaching hair weaves, you are now going to dive into the bonding method.  Now, the bonding method is honestly, one of the most popular ways to apply hair extensions and hair weaves.  First, the hair is divided into small sections and a bonding glue adhesive is used to attach the weave directly to the natural hair near your scalp.  One of the most important things that you do have to make sure of  is that your stylist does not use too much glue.  This will not only hurt your natural hair and scalp but it will also be extremely uncomfortable for you!

One thing you will definitely want to do before you have your stylist glue the weave to your scalp is test out just a small portion of your scalp.  This way, you will be able to see if you are allergic to the glue and it will ensure that you know exactly what you are getting yourself into when you choose the bonding method.

Bonded weaves usually last between one and two months before they start to loosen on up, although you definitely want to go to your stylist once you begin to feel your weave loosening up and have them take it off professionally, this will definitely make sure that you do not hurt your scalp or your natural hair!
