When it comes to cornrows, it can be extremely time consuming to do.  This is especially true if you are doing them by yourself.  We have talked about planning the design on your head, it is now time for you to really start doing the cornrows themselves!  Now, it’s time consuming and may make your arms tired if you are doing them by yourself but it can be done folks!

First, you want to take a small section of your hair and braid it – if you do not know how to braid, you may want to have someone teach you that before you begin your cornrows.  After you have braided that section, you now have to take some hair from along that braid and tuck it under the braid.  This gives the braid some volume and will ultimately get your cornrows going!

Now that you know how to do it – it’s easy right?  Cornrows are something that are classic, traditional and certainly one of the best hairstyles in the world.  So people – get out there and get yourself some cornrows!
