Black highlights for your hair is another thing that we need to talk about.  While most people think that black is going to be a base color, it does not always have to be – take Kelly Clarkston for instance, she knew that and she incorporated black into the many colors of her hair in this particular picture.  Black is an all around fantastic color to weave in and out of your hair.

You need to be careful about black highlights as they are not exactly ‘highlights’, they are incorporating a darker color into your hair.  Black is by far the hardest color in the world to get rid of, so make sure that if you do want black ‘highlights’, that you absolutely love them!

They do however look freakin’ cool as hell, so you might just want to try them out as least one time in your life!
