Coloring Your Hair

Now that we have discussed creating a shield for your hair and ensuring that the color stays protected that way – the next step is going to be to use your head.  You want to make sure that you are constantly thinking outside of the box.  For example, keeping a mask in your beach bag with you is a must whenever you are trying to protect your hair not only from the sun but also some any lake/ocean water that might strip some of your color out.

The cool thing about a mask?  It actually works to offer up two different kinds of protection.  The direct sunlight is going to heat up the hair mask and really make sure that it penetrates all the way down into the hair – the next thing?  It will actually keep your hair from getting extremely frizzy at the beach.  Any mask at all will do the trick; just make sure it truly is a hair mask and not just conditioner.

We are going to talk about the last thing that you can do to protect your hair color in the last blog – you can’t miss that!
